Terms of sale

Last updated 22 September 2026

What do these terms cover?

These terms cover everything you buy from HOBBYBASE, whether it is in stock now or is a pre-order.

We sell sealed trading card game products. Placing an order means you accept these terms.

What can I order?

Orders are placed in units.

If a product is sold by the case, order the equivalent number of units instead. The conversion is given with the product. For example, if an Elite Trainer Box is ₱3,600 a unit and a case is 10 units, you order 10 units.

What do prices include?

Prices are in Philippine pesos and include no shipping.

Stock is limited and an in stock item can sell out while it is still in your bag. If that happens you will see it at checkout, before you pay.

If a price is shown wrongly, we will tell you before anything is confirmed and you will not be charged the wrong amount.

Is there a limit on how much I can buy?

Some products carry a limit on how many one customer may buy. Where there is one, it is shown with the product.

The limit counts the units on your orders that are still live or already completed, not how many you hold at once. A limit of 2 means two in total, and a completed order does not give the allowance back. If a payment is refused and the order ends there, those units go back and you can order them again.

Can I cancel an order?

Placing this order is final. Orders cannot be cancelled once placed. The courier fee is arranged and settled on Messenger and is not charged on this page.

You agree to that at checkout, before the order exists. There is no separate contract to sign and no copy to keep, because the order itself is the record that you agreed.

There is one situation where we cancel part of an order ourselves, and it is the pre-order balance deadline below.

How do I pay?

There are no card payments on this site. You pay by bank transfer or GCash, to the account details shown at checkout, and then upload a screenshot of the transfer as proof.

Every proof is checked by hand. Until it is accepted your order is waiting on payment, and you can see that on the order page.

What if my payment is not accepted?

If we cannot accept your proof we tell you why, in your own order and on Messenger.

If the refused payment was the one that opened the order, that order ends and the units go back to stock. You place a new order if you still want the item, and there is no second attempt on a closed order.

If it was a balance payment on a pre-order, the order stands. Your units stay reserved, the balance deadline does not move, and you send a new screenshot before it passes.

If money has already left your account, we sort it out with you on Messenger.

How does shipping work?

Shipping is arranged off the site and is never charged here. Once your order is ready we quote the courier fee on Messenger.

The fee is paid per parcel. An order may ship in more than one parcel where that makes sense, and each parcel is quoted separately. In stock items ship as soon as they are ready. A pre-order ships when its own batch arrives, so an order holding both will come in more than one parcel.

What if you cannot ship what I paid for?

If we accept your payment and then cannot ship the item, we refund you in full.

Pre-orders

What is a pre-order?

A pre-order reserves stock from a batch that has not arrived yet. You pay a deposit to hold your place, and the rest once we know how much stock we were given.

How many units we receive is decided by the distributor, not by us. We may get everything we ordered, some of it, or none of it.

How much do I pay up front?

Every pre-order has a deposit. The amount is shown with the product and again at checkout, before you pay anything.

The deposit secures your place. An order without its deposit is not processed.

Deposits are final. The only money that comes back is described under refunds below.

Can a pre-order run out?

Some batches have a fixed number of places. When they are taken the product is marked full and no more orders are accepted for it, though a place can free up again if someone's payment is not accepted.

What if I am not allocated everything I ordered?

Your allocation is the quantity you ordered multiplied by the rate the distributor gives us, always rounded down to whole units. A small order can round down to nothing.

For example, if you ordered 10 units and the rate is 25 percent, 10 multiplied by 0.25 is 2.5, so you receive 2 units.

A partial allocation cannot be refused. Taking what you were allocated is the only way forward, and where a balance is due, walking away from it forfeits the deposit.

How does the balance work?

Once your allocation is announced, your deposit is counted toward the units you were actually allocated.

If those units cost more than your deposit, you pay the difference. You have 7 days from the allocation announcement to pay it. No extension is possible, and after the deadline the site will not accept a payment for that order.

What if I miss the balance deadline?

If the balance is not paid within the 7 days, we will cancel that pre-order and its deposit is forfeited. Anything else in the same order is not affected and still ships.

When do I get money back, and how long does it take?

Your deposit is counted toward the units you were allocated first. You are refunded whatever is left over. So:

  • if you were allocated nothing, the whole deposit comes back;
  • if your allocation costs less than your deposit, the difference comes back;
  • if your allocation costs exactly your deposit, nothing comes back and there is nothing more to pay;
  • if your allocation costs more than your deposit, nothing comes back and you pay the balance instead.

There are no deductions of any kind. You get the full amount.

A refund is sent by GCash or bank transfer. We can only send it after the distributor sends the money back to us, which takes up to 7 days after release, and we then process it within 3 to 5 business days.

No refund is given for an order that was never paid for, or for a pre-order cancelled because its balance deadline passed.

Your account and these terms

What about my account?

You sign in with Google. One account per person, and the email address on it is the one we use to reach you.

We can close an account that is used to abuse the site, for example by flooding it with uploads.

Do these terms change?

We may update this page. The date at the top says when it last changed, and the version in force when you ordered is the one that governs that order.

How do I reach you?

Message us on Messenger, or email hobbybase.online@gmail.com.

How we handle your personal information is on the privacy page.
